5 L Neoprene Glue Can - Essential by My Podologie // Clearance

Clearance: Damaged packaging

Versatile contact adhesive based on polychloroprene rubber in flammable solvent medium, light-colored and with high initial tack. This adhesive has a very long open time and is very easy to apply. It is used exclusively as a one-component adhesive without the addition of a catalyst and mainly for double-sided bonding.

It is suitable for bonding numerous materials traditionally used in footwear and leather goods and can be suitable for some light-colored materials as well as leather, cardboard, wood, cork, felt, textiles, non-wovens, crepe, cellular rubbers, microporous EVA, and various plastics (preliminary tests required). Not suitable for plasticized PVC (migration), or expanded or extruded polystyrene (solvent attack). Product used in shoemaking, upholstery, furniture, fittings, construction, and many industrial fields.

CHARACTERISTICS OF POLYMERIZED ADHESIVE FILM

Fairly firm and flexible adhesive film. Excellent adhesive properties on many materials. Good thermal resistance up to +80°C peak (specific tests required depending on materials and intended use). One-component adhesive to be used without adding an isocyanate catalyst

CONSUMPTION / APPLICATION

~ 120 to 140 g/m² wet per side, variable depending on the nature of the materials to be bonded and the application system

SETTING SPEED

Very good tack and initial set upon application / Final set 24 hours

OPEN TIME

? 4 hours (double-sided bonding)

USE TEMPERATURE

? +15°C and ? +30°C
